Well, they’re back on Bravo in a new reality TV series. A sneak peek called “Jo and Slade: The Break Up” will air at 10 p.m. The preview special will recap the complicated relationship and history between De La Rosa, a longtime Orange County resident, and Smiley, a former resident of Coto de Caza.
But this time, they’re both single, and courting Jo has become a competition. Both now live in Los Angeles, and they’re still close friends.
Jo was just 26 and dating Slade Smiley when she made her debut on the first Real Housewives series.
Her sound is a highly produced blend of pop and R&B, with an urban, contemporary edge.
“You’ll probably hear some of her music on the show,” said Scott Dunlop, creator and producer of “Real Housewives” and a consulting producer for “Date My Ex.” De La Rosa and Smiley were on the first two seasons of “The Real Housewives of Orange County.” They initially lived together in a large Coto house, and their rocky relationship and breakup was well-documented on the popular Bravo reality series.
